Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 08/19/2026
Beacon Support Homes wants everyone looking for recovery housing to be able to use this site, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or voice control.
Our standard
We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That target guides our color contrast, text sizing, keyboard support, and page structure.
What we've done
- Text and interface colors meet AA contrast ratios.
- A "Skip to main content" link appears as soon as you press Tab.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text, and icon-only buttons carry labels.
- Form fields have visible labels and errors written in text next to the field.
- Pages remain readable at 200% zoom and at small phone widths.
- Motion is minimal and respects your reduced-motion setting.
What we don't use
We do not install accessibility overlay widgets. Accessibility is built into the pages themselves.
