Marcus, our founder, created Beacon out of lived experience. This isn't theory for him, it's life. He knows what it's like to fall, and what it takes to get back up. That's why he built a place where men in recovery could feel safe, seen, and set up for success.
What he's built here is more than a sober living home. It's a real community, and every man who walks through these doors is championed as part of it.

Marcus is just getting started.
His vision is to grow Beacon into a network of homes across Sacramento that offer more than shelter. They offer mentorship, life skills, wellness support, and long-term accountability. With two homes open, in Elk Grove and North Sacramento, that growth is underway.
We're here to build something that outlives our story, a legacy of hope and healing in the city of Sacramento.
