Get To know Us

This isn’t just a house. It’s a healing place—built by people who’ve walked the road themselves.

At Beacon Support Homes, we know that recovery isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress, support, and a space where you can actually breathe.
Marcus, our founder, created Beacon out of lived experience. This isn’t theory for him—it’s life. He knows what it’s like to fall, and what it takes to get back up. That’s why he built a place where men in recovery could feel safe, seen, and set up for success.

Freddy came alongside not just to support Marcus but to champion every man who walks through these doors. Together, they’ve created more than a sober living home—they’ve built a real community.

What Does Intake Look Like?

We keep things simple and human. Intake starts with a conversation.
We want to know who you are, where you’ve been, and what you’re hoping for. From there, we go over expectations, answer any questions, and help set you up to succeed from day one.

You’ll receive a tour, an explanation of house rules, and support getting settled. We’re not here to overwhelm you—we’re here to walk with you.

What Does Success Look Like?

Success at Beacon isn’t just staying sober—it’s becoming whole.
It’s when a man who came in unsure of himself starts to show up—on time, accountable, and with a plan.
It’s when he rebuilds relationships, re-enters the workforce, and starts dreaming again.
It’s when he’s not just surviving the process—he’s owning his future.

We celebrate the small wins:

  • Showing up to meetings

  • Being honest in hard conversations

  • Landing a job

  • Choosing community over isolation

Our Vision for the Future

Marcus and Freddy are just getting started.
The vision is to grow Beacon into a network of homes that offer more than shelter—they offer mentorship, life skills, spiritual guidance, and long-term support.

We’re here to build something that outlives our story—a legacy of hope and healing in the city of Sacramento.

Every man who walks through our doors is part of that future.

Beacon Support Homes exists because we believe no one is too far gone. Recovery is possible. Life can be rebuilt. And you don’t have to do it alone
